Shows Minister of Health, David Cunliffe, tossing a sword around which is wrapped a snake as in the medical symbol, the staff of Asclepius. The tossing of the sword is described as 'the hospital pass' and the text in the cartoon says a 'matter of Cunliffe & death' (a pun on Cun'liffe' and 'life' as in 'life and death'. Refers to David Cunliffe's sacking of the Hawkes Bay Regional Health Board at the beginning of March 2008.
