Caretaker PM. 28 September, 2005.
- Date
- 2005
- Reference
- DCDL-0000235
- Description
A cleaning lady with a kerchief round her head and a mop in a bucket beside her has whipped open a door labelled 'Caretaker PM'. Clearly the caretaker has mistaken this room for her own. Refers to the time between the election and the final election result which is two weeks. Because the vote is so close it could be said that Prime Minister, Helen Clark, is running a caretaker government.
Other Titles - "Oops - Sorry Helen. I'm a bit short-sighted."
