Description

Shows Prime Minister John Key as the Little Mermaid sitting on a rock. He thinks to himself that at first he thought the Copenhagen Climate Conference was just a photo-op but now he realises that with so many world leaders attending it is a 'fairy-tale photo-op'. Refers to the Copenhagen Climate Conference (COP15) being held in December 2009. John Key made a last minute decision to attend which some regard as indicative of a lack of seriousness about the issue of global warming. 'The Little Mermaid' is a fairytale by Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen and a sculpture of the Little Mermaid sits on a rock in the Copenhagen harbour.
