Murray George Webb was born in Invercargill in 1947 and studied at the University of Otago. A former New Zealand Test cricketer, he is a prolific caricature artist whose subjects include politicians, sports figures, and other people in the public eye, both in New Zealand and internationally. His work regularly appears in the Otago Daily Times, the Dominion Post, the Christchurch Press, the Evening Standard, the Daily Telegraph, the New Zealand Herald, and the National Business Review, among other publications.
