- Description
Two men are sitting side by side at a bar, each reading a newspaper and chatting while the bartender looks on. The first has a newspaper which has headlines that read 'Capill's whinge'; he comments that Graham Capill is not happy with the treatment he is getting in prison. The second man has a paper whose headlines read 'Election results' and he replies that Capill should change places with the 50% of voters who have just registered that they are not happy outside. Graham Capill was leader of the Christian Heritage Party but was convicted of multiple sexual offences against girls under twelve earlier this year; he has recently complained about poor treatment in prison. The reference to the 50% of voters is about the National Party just having failed to beat Labour in the recent election and so those voters feel left outside.
