Also contains notes about the Te Arawa canoe, waiata, a copy of instructions regarding the administration of land in the Wanganui area, and cosmological whakapapa
Contains notes about the boundaries of land owned by hapu living around Lake Wairarapa, and the pa and kainga that they lived in; also contains a copy of a letter to Sir James Carroll about the administration and management of reserves near the Lake
