- Description
Shows the New Zealand Prime Minister, Helen Clark, ordering Associate Education Minister, David Benson-Pope, to stand down [from his Cabinet portfolios] while he, with tennis balls at his feet, waves a cane, and shouts 'Stand up, lad! Stand up!' Refers to allegations that David Benson-Pope had used, in his former teaching career, inappropriate methods of punishment, (for example, forcing a tennis-ball into a boy's mouth). Because of the allegations David Benson-Pope was stood down from his cabinet portfolios.
