Description

Shows a hideous pig dressed in a suit and tie. On its lapel is a badge saying 'Wall St greed' and in its left trotter it holds a pen labelled 'US Fed Reserve'. Flies float around its face. Refers to the Wall Street crash of September 2008 in which a number of banks and finance houses failed. Currently negotiations are taking place that will see the government (the Federal Reserve Bank) present a rescue package. The economic woes are considered to be partly the result of greed on the part of the corporate heads. The words 'still a pig' is a reference to a comment made by Barack Obama when told voters that they shouldn't believe the talk from Republican nominee John McCain and Palin about reforming Washington. "You can put lipstick on a pig," Obama said. "It's still a pig."
