Note on catalogue card: Compiled at time of dispute over wharf at Lowry Bay, 1877-1887. See accompanying copy of correspondence from file relating to Lowry Bay (regarding McIntyre of Lowry Bay Estate requesting permission to construct two jettys, the Wellington Harbour Board and the Marine Department). Annotations on the map before copying show the position of the proposed jettys.

Note: A reader (Mrs Small) thinks the date should be 1879 or earlier because the house detail has been added later).
