Description

At the top of the cartoon is written 'Police to use cardboard cutouts in an effort to deter crime - News'. One be-wigged prosecuting barrister comments to another that he hopes that the police will have better luck with cardboard cutouts than they have had. Behind them a leather-jacketed gang member with wild hair is giving the fingers to a cardboard judge who is uttering "whirr...brutal assault...click...horrendous record...crackle...deprived childhood...click...periodic detention...whirr...". A small kiwi at the bottom of the cartoon comments "A travesty of it [justice]".
