Shows a view from the Mount Cook Range, of the Tasman and Murchison Glaciers descending on either side of the central Malte Brun Range.
The work is based on a watercolour sketch by Julius Haast (at C-097-083), and is likely to have been a preparatory sketch for Gully's "The Tasman and Murchison Glaciers from the Mt Cook Range" ca 1863, at C-096-012.
