It is a dark evening and a suspicious-looking character wearing a black hat and overcoat is talking to a man in the doorway of a huge featureless building. He is buying from the black market and is told that he can have a Van Gogh painting, some uranium or a Brash email. Reference is to the acquiring of copies of Don Brash's emails over the last two years; some of the material providing evidence in a book by Nicky Hager.
