- Description
Shows a huge 'Sorry' carved in monumental stone which stands against a night sky with stars and a quarter moon. Below the monument stand Kevin Rudd, the Australian Prime Minister, with a mallet in one hand and a chisel in the other. An Aboriginal man holding a spear places his hand on Kevin Rudd;s shoulder and tells him that he has done well. Refers to the apology that Kevin Rudd made on the 13th February, 2008, to the Aborigines of Australia and especially to the lost generations, those who were taken from their families as children and placed in white communities.
