Description

The cartoon shows Maori Party MP Hone Harawira standing near the Eiffel Tower in Paris with is camera at the ready. He says that 'Chucking a sickie is really a Treaty Settlement'. Refers to the unofficial sidetrip taken by Harawira and his wife to Paris while in Europe at tax-payers' expense. Hone Harawira was widely criticised for this as well as his use of foul language and strong anti-Pakeha comments in an email.
