- Date
- 2009
- Reference

- Description
A huge overmuscled boxer who represents 'unemployment' grins as he squeezes a tiny man representing 'job summit' in his glove while the tiny man takes ineffectual swings at him. Refers to criticism about the effectiveness of the Job Summit that was held in February 2009 and was intended to keep New Zealanders in jobs as the recession bit. The unemployment rate rose from 5.0% to 6.0% in the June 2009 quarter, its highest level since the September 2000 quarter.
