The cartoon shows an oil rig with a pipe ending In a credit card reaching into the sea. Banknotes are escaping from the credit card but someone in the 'MPs' oil rig asks 'Who cares about the odd blowout?' There is one reference to the Gulf of Mexico oil rig disaster which is still uncontained and the is also reference to the decision by the PM to make public all ministerial credit card accounts which has resulted in Labour leader Phil Goff having to discipline and demote three ministers - Shane Jones, Chris Carter and Mita Ririnui.
