- Description
In the first of two frames Maori Party Co-leader, Pita Sharples, sits at a desk and tells the man in the seat opposite him that The Maori Party wants to maintain dialogue with Fiji so they won't feel so alone. In the second frame the man in the opposite seat is seen to be in a strait jacket - he is also wearing a Napoleon hat. Refers to the fact that Prime Minister, John Key, has forbidden Pita Sharples and Tariana Turia from going to Fiji and so the Maori Party Intends to send a delegation over instead. Refers to the difficulties over Bainimarama's seizing of power and refusal to hold democratic elections as soon as was hoped. However Bainimarama is trying to buy time to disentangle troubled relationships between various groups in his own country.
