Contains whakapapa, boundaries of tuku whenua in Wairarapa, notes about various conflicts and conquests of land in Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay over a number of generations; also contains biographical notes about some important Ngati Kahungunu ancestors, including Te Whatuiapiti, Tupurupuru and Taraia
Also contains notes about the occupation of part of the Nga-Waka-a-Kupe block in Wairarapa, including block boundariees, whakapapa, history of the block, rentals of the block and the court history of the block (this appears to be verbatim evidence from the Maori Land Court)
