- Description
The cartoon shows former British prime minister Tony Blair being questioned at the 'Iraq Inquiry'. He says that he was led to believe by United States intelligence that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. Behind him former American president George W Bush says that they did find some brass knuckles and a fondue fork. Refers to the Chilcot Inquiry to consider 'the UK's involvement in Iraq, including the way decisions were made and actions taken, to establish, as accurately as possible, what happened and to identify the lessons that can be learned'. The inquiry was chaired by Sir John Chilcot. In the event Tony Blair said that if the situation rose again he would do nothing differently.
