In the first of two frames Annette King, deputy opposition leader and Phil Goff, leader of the Labour opposition appear as a pair of dogs that threaten the shadows of two cats that represent 'economy' and 'unemployment'. In the second frame they cower inside the dog-kennel when another cat shadow representing 'MPs' perks, appears. Refers to the attacks of the opposition on the government's attempts to deal with the economy and unemployment and the oppositions running for cover when the subject of perks arose.
