Shows Prime Minister, Helen Clark and Leader of the National opposition party, John Key, taking turns to suggest ways of dealing with the problem of 'hoods' or recalcitrant youth. Refers to the policies being offered by the two main parties in the lead up to the 2008 election on how to deal with youth offending. Labour wants to keep them in the education system and National wants to take a tougher approach and put them in some kind of boot camp training.
