Description

Memoirs of Holmes visiting his great Aunt Kate in Deep Cove, British Columbia in 1955 and later on in the 1960s. Details family history of the McNaughtan family who first emigrated to New Zealand from Scotland. Includes a transcript of Robert McNaughtan's shipboard account, (written at the age of 13) of their journey aboard the Oamaru in 1882, arriving at Port Chalmers 29 January 1883.
