Description

Views of and from the Long Lookout Homestead owned by Charles Hunter Brown, and adjacent areas around Nelson City.

These are followed by scenes of a 10 h.p. "one lunger" motor car on a six day tour from Nelson to Christchurch, and a cutting from the New Zealand Freelance decribing the trip. The car was driven by Willam Graham Vining, with Lucy Malanta Hunter Brown, Mrs W Sutton, and Miss B Humphries as passengers.

Probably linked with Charles Hunter Brown albums at PA1-o-238 to PA1-o-241, in which the captions are all in the same hand-writing as those in this album.

It seems probable that the album was compiled by Miss L M Hunter Brown ca 1908.
