Description

In the first of these two scenes the leader of the National Party, Don Brash, is shown in a meeting discussing strategy for the 2005 national elections. His advisor suggests he should follow a similar strategy to the recently re-elected Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard. In the Australian federal election the Labour Party lost at least 3 seats because of their anti-logging stance. In the second scene, Brash is delivering a speech in which he gives National Party support to logging in Tasmania.

Extended Title - 'Rather than talk about the Rotorua lakes- perhaps we should focus of the lessons learned from John Howard's successful campaign' 'The National Party is very much in favour of logging in Tasmania...'
