Description

The cartoon shows Rod Donald's chair in the House. On his desk is a photograph of Rod Donald in a frame beside which lies a rose. Rod Donald was Co-leader with Jeanette Fitzsimons, of the New Zealand Green Party. He died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 48 on the 6th November 2005 of viral myocarditis which stopped his heart. His untimely death is a stunning blow to the Green Party and many New Zealanders were saddened by it.
