Description

Shows Finance Minister, Michael Cullen, and Prime Minister, Helen Clark, clutching a 'trade deal' riding the Labour steam train cheerfully along a track to which National leader, John Key, holding some 'rail shares' and swearing, is tied. On the sand Parekura Horomia is sunbathing looking looking like lard washed up on a beach, according to the co-leaders of the Maori Party, Pita Sharples and Tariana Turia. In the distance leader of NZ First, Winston Peters, walks along carrying bags of money. In the background the Beehive building represents a dirty toilet that is attracting flies. The text says 'another week of dirty lowdown politics' and refers to the backbiting and attempts to undermine opposing parties in the run up to the 2008 election. Helen Clark's trade deal was with the United States and other countries. John Key was embarrassed to be caught out with railway shares at a compromising time, Winston Peters was lent money which he should have declared and a lump of unknown cheesy substance was found on a beach.
