Description

The image shows David Bain sitting in one pan in a balance while in the other sit three clowns named 'Talkback', 'Vox pops' and 'Media pundits'. The second pan weighs heavier than the David Bain pan and represents the 'downside' of the David Bain trial. Refers to the retrial of David Bain who was imprisoned for 13 years for the murders of his parents and three siblings. The retrial found him not guilty. There was a huge amount of media coverage and speculation which made the trial an unusually frenzied media event.
