A huge bomb that represents 'Al Qaeda' floats in the ocean. One of its detonators has broken loose and sinks to the sea floor. Context - the cartoonist describes the cartoon as 'the bin Laden legacy'. Although the world's most wanted terrorist was killed on May 1 al Qaeda lives on. - Osama bin Laden, the criminal mastermind behind al-Qaida and the world's most sought-after terrorist since the attacks of 11 September 2001, has been killed by a US operation, President Barack Obama has announced. He was killed at his house in Abbottabad, a highland town north of Islamabad. (Guardian 2 May 2011)
