A base map of Lake Taupo showing urban zones, existing, proposed and national reserves has been possibly used by the Officials Committee to hilight the lakeshore reserves and to mark boundaries of blocks, the extent of development, also present development and development not started, all of which are referred to in keys. Numerous pencilled notes refer to Maori land ownership and written topographical descriptions of some reserves. A few place names are added and a note states that the Oruapuraho and Waikino streamas are out of position, Blocks are named Whareroa, Te Hapua, Waikino, Waihaha, Puketapu, Marotiri, Acacia, Tuhingamata, Wairakei, Rangatira, Tauhara
