- Description
Prime Minister John Key is dressed as a groom; his bride (new Mayor of Auckland Len Brown) is anxious because he looks so pale but he reassures her it is nothing, that she just looks different from the bride he ordered from the mail-order catalogue; in his hand he holds the catalogue which has an image of John Banks who has been defeated by Len Brown in the mayoral race for Auckland supercity. The suggestion is that John Banks as a right wing candidate was very much John Key's preferred choice for mayor; but Auckland now has a left wing mayor, backed by a majority left wing council.
