Cartoon is drawn against a background of the New Zealand flag and shows many of the party leaders engaging in unattractive political campaigning in the run up to the 2008 election. Roger Douglas rides on Rodney Hide's shoulders as they cavort for the ACT party. Pita Sharples and Tariana Turia sing 'Don't cry for me, Argentina' for the Maori Party. Leader of National, John Key holds up a playing card showing the 9 of clubs and suggests that it is the 3 of hearts. Prime Minister, Helen Clark has Finance Minister, Michael Cullen, on her shoulder as a parrot and tells Winston Peters who is a dog that peeing in public is not clever. Green co-leader, Jeanette Fitzsimons, is making herself dizzy upside down on a trapeze. Refers to the political contenders campaigning in the run up to the election. There is a reference to a new TV show called 'New Zealand's got talent'.
