- Description
Shows three Afghani people preparing to vote in the election of 20 August. The first is the current President who hopes to retain power so he intends to rig the vote; the second is a member of the Taleban who intends to disrupt the vote; and the third is a woman who intends to try to survive the vote. Refers to the difficult circumstances in which this election is being held because the Taleban is determined to disrupt it which means voters are scared. Karzai is determined to stay in power which means (among other things) that he is guilty of selling out to women by retaining the law which allows rape within marriage thus condoning conservative Islamic values.
