The left half of a base planning map of Ahuriri Lagoon reclamation and proposed drainage and subdivision has been used to show the proposed water supply system for the southern area of Napier from Napier Park to Poraite to the vicinity of Westshore Bridge. The subdivision boundaries have been prominently outlined. An artesian well and substation are marked, as are troughs, future house connections, pipes, future extensions, valves, scour valves and proposed subdivision boundaries which are included in a reference key. Subdivisions are numbered. Valves are numbered. Various heights above sea level are recorded including a reservoir. The future extension to the northern area is indicated.
