Description

A Tongan Island and islanders, probably Nomuka, as recorded by Tasman's artist Isaac Gilsemans. In the left foreground, two men, a woman and a child are standing. One man is holding a fish. In the background, barrels are being floated ashore to a beach with village buildings and trees behind.
