There are two frames. In the first two men are sitting in an airport lounge. One of them is reading a newspaper whose headlines refer to the recent mine disaster in Tasmania. He asks his friend if he can imagine anything worse than being trapped for 12 days down a mine. Teresa Gattung, CEO of Telecom, who happens to be passing, overhears and says 'Yes'. The second man realises that she is referring to being involved in the Telecom fracas. Telecom has been resisting unbundling the loop to make room for other telecommunications competitors. Teresa Gattung has stated that Telecom relies on public confusion to keep prices high.
