Description

The scene shows a group of rubbish collectors loading garbage left beside the road on the footpaths into a rubbish truck. Outside most houses there is a smashed television set. One of the men asks another if he saw the leaders' debate on TV last night. Refers to the leaders' debate which presumably stirred up viewers to such an extent that they smashed their television sets. In fact the first debate was a pretty peaceful and cheerful affair, not likely to have enraged viewers.
