A group of senior executives sit around a table and listen to their CEO telling them that he will accept five million a year but if he ever has to justify it to the media they can double it. Refers to the fact that Telecom reported a 43.9 per cent fall in full year net profit to $398 million. In spite of this fall in profits, Telecom will pay chief executive, Paul Reynolds, his full performance bonus.
