Steam locomotive Wj 466 was originally used by the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Co, and was numbered WMR 3. It was built by Baldwin (maker's no 23596/04), and went into service in July 1904. In 1908 when New Zealand Railways took over the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Co, this engine became NZR Wj class 466. It was written off in 1928.
