Shows the Aglionby Arms in Lower Hutt leaning dangerously off its foundations.
Park's only other known Hutt drawing is dated 1842, but the drawing could have been done as late as the 1850s. The hotel's proprietor, Robert Burcham died in 1854 and his address was given as Aglionby Arms. In 1858 a severe flood in the Hutt caused loss of life. Walter Mantell also records a flood at an earlier date.
