The cartoon shows a terrible apocalyptic scene with smoke stacks spewing smoke and a monstrous dragon of smoke and fumes. One man complacently considers that there is 'nothing to worry about' while three others rush to Copenhagen. The first is Prime Minister John Key who wants someone to 'save the caviare' for him, the second is the Minister for the Environment Nick Smith who wants to 'save the polar bear' and the third is Minister of Conservation Tim Groser who is determined to 'save the planet'. Refers to the critical Copenhagen Conference on Global Warming (COP15) held in December 2009. New Zealand has an ETS (Emissions Trading Scheme) but many believe that we are excusing ourselves of sufficient effort.
