Prime Minister, John Key, in a hare costume, snoozes under a tree, believing that he can have a rest because of the way he bolted out of the blocks before Christmas. A tortoise representing 'recession' is about the cross the finish line of the 'First 100 days of action'. A man yells to John Key to 'Wake up!'. Refers to the way the new National government got a number of pieces of legislation through parliament in urgency but appears to be stalling in the new year as the recession begins to bite.
