- Description
The cartoon shows Prime Minister John Key as a very slick used car salesman. A fat foreign investor clutching a cigar and a briefcase has arrived at the salesyard. Across the salesyard are strings of flags reading 'Used assets'. John Key says that he has some 'mum'n'dad' interest but there is no harm to foreign investors coming in to 'kick a few tyres'. Refers to the government's showing interest in selling off some state assets, including Kiwibank.
