Scenes during Hui Topu, the first all Aoteoroa Anglican Maori hui, May 1962, Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia.; Tangi on the marae (an elder died in his sleep at night). Includes 4 images of a young Maori girl; 2 images of a kuia; 2 images of men carrying the coffin. Te Mahinarangi meeting house can be seen in the background of most of the photographs. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
