Description

Shows the leaders of the Labour and National Party, Helen Clark and Don Brash, holding up signs that represent their stance on issues related to women in the 2005 election. Cartoon demonstrates the differences in approach to women's issues by the two parties. While Labour believes that women's rights is still an issue, National Wants to abolish the Ministry of Women's Affairs. There is a reference to Don Brash's 'One people, one nation' Orewa speech in his '1 people, 1 gender' comment.
