Refers to the recent sale of a Goldie painting for $404,000 and the constant problem of fake or copycat painting. Possibly refers to the sale for $454,000 by auction of a 1933 Goldie painting of Maori chief Hori Pokai at the International Art Centre in Parnell of important, early and rare 19th and 20th century art.
