Description: Baptism records for the Cloudy Bay, Queen Charlotte Sound, and Tory Channel districts. These records mostly relate to the Maori and whaling communities, including Ngati Toa, Ngati Rarua, Ngati Koata, Rangitane and Ngai Tahu (?). Note, the names included are indicative only and represent some of the Ngati Toa personalities recognised and researchers should carefully check the contents for other names and tribal associations.
