British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, stands before a wall map pointing to Greenland with a stick. He is making a statement about global warming which he says will have the negative effect of melting the Greenland ice shelf but will also have the positive effect of inundating much of the Middle East. Mr Blair will speak, via interactive video link, to the multidisciplinary conference on Climate Change & Governance: Critical Issues for New Zealand & the Pacific, on 29 March. This important conference is being organised By Victoria University of Wellington. Tony Blair is doubtless wishing that the Iraq War would go away.
