Shows Prime Minister Helen Clark and her deputy, Michael Cullen standing at a wargaming table dressed in military uniform. They are under seige as the main text states. Helen Clark is busy moving pieces around the board convinced that the successes of the Greens and New Zealand First will make the difference to Labour's chances of remaining the government after the 2008 election. Michael Cullen looks terribly anxious as he tries to get up the courage to tell her the horrid truth. Refers to the fact that National is winning in the polls at the end of 2007.
