Description

The cartoon shows a large signpost stuck into the sand on a beach that reads 'Tsunami Warning - you should not be reading this!' A second version reads 'Tsunami warning - if you can read this..it hasn't hit... if you can't... it has!!' Refers to the tsunami warning on Sunday 28 February 2010 after the previous day's massive 8.8 earthquake in Chile. In spite of very good management by New Zealand's Civil Defence there were many people who ignored the warnings to keep away from the beach.
