Shows a fireplace with two cooking pots suspended over a fire. There is a kettle beside them. There is a butter churn on the bench at the left, an iron on the mantel, a small dog dozing under the table at the left, a straw broom and a shovel at the right, and a bookshelf at the upper right. On the wall at the left, is a gadget which could be a mincer.
